Ms. Bippus

Hi! My name is Jean Bippus. Younger kids call me Mrs. Jean. Older kids call me Mrs. Bippus. I help in the Early Childhood Education program and in one of the special education rooms. I enjoy working with children. Helping children to learn and grow as individuals is very rewarding work. I have been working with children for about eight years (not including the years that I have been a mom). I am a student myself. I am going to Western Illinois University to work on my master’s degree so that I can be the best teacher that I can be. I have a wonderful husband and three great kids. Spending time with them is my favorite thing to do. I like to cross stitch and scrapbook when I have extra time. I am thankful for the opportunity to serve the children at Eagle Ridge School.

Ms. Guzzo

Hi, my name is Cassandra (Kay Cee) Guzzo.  I’m 26 years old and live with my many pets. While working as an aide, I am also attending college to complete my degree in Early Childhood Education.  In my free time I also enjoy reading and playing softball.

Mrs. Padgett

My name is Linda Padgett.  I have been married to my husband Jeff for 31 years.  My husband is a Driver’s Education Teacher at Orion High School. We have two children and two grandchildren.  Being with my family, reading, decorating, crafting and shopping are some of my favorite things to do.  I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Illinois State University, in Normal, Illinois.

I have been with the Carbon-Cliff School District, since 1996, and have enjoyed getting to know the students and staff.  I have worked mainly in the Title 1 reading program as a reading aide.  There have been some wonderful experiences here at Eagle Ridge but already this year has to be considered the greatest one since my daughter is substitute teaching, her first teaching experience since graduating, and she is teaching right next door to me here at Eagle Ridge. I am so blessed to be here at Eagle Ridge.

Mrs. Taube

My name is Martha Taube and I am a reading aide working with Ms. Padgett.  I live with my husband in Geneseo, IL.   My two children are off on their own.  My daughter Katie is a TV news anchor with KSFY in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  Erik my son is in dental school at SIUE in Alton, IL.

I have worked at Eagle Ridge for one and a half years. I attended the University of Illinois receiving a Music Education degree. I then attended Western Illinois University receiving an Elementary Education degree. I enjoy working with Eagle Ridge students helping them improve their reading skills.  I would like to encourage all adults-in-charge to read to their children every night and to set up a regular day and time to visit their local library.
